ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has dismissed a disciplinary complaint against an advocate and, in a separate ruling, restored a lawyer’s licence, with Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar setting out important principles governing professional ethics, client relations and the administration of justice.

  1. Good ruling by PBC. Due process matters. But the bar council needs to be more consistent in their disciplinary decisions, otherwise it creates confusion in the legal community.
